Don't Miss the First Multimedia Performance in Microgravity!
This Fall, something extraordinary is taking flight.
PARABOLES is a bold, interdisciplinary mission led by award-winning showmaker and spaceflight trainee, Natasha Tsakos, who, alongside a crew of artists, filmmakers, and space scientists, will create the first live multimedia performance created and captured in microgravity.
In collaboration with MIT Space Exploration Initiative and supported by NASA-certified bioastronautics officers, PARABOLES blends performance art and aerospace in a poetic exploration of gravity, motion, and the human spirit.
The mission is equal parts science and story. The work will culminate in an art film, short documentary, immersive installation, training curriculum and biometric research.
Women’s Aerospace Network is proud to support Natasha and her team as they expand not just where we go but who we are when we get there.
